Abstract
Dance: A Resource for Year 11 General is written specifically in accordance with School Curriculum and Standards Authority guidelines for students studying the Year 12 General Dance Course. The book focuses on the two units’ Popular culture and Australian Dance. Intended as a workbook, it is packed with relevant activities and information. There is space for students to record written responses and reflect on choreographic processes attempted. Students are introduced to dance concepts in easy to understand language, and the range of activities allows teachers to select activities relevant to the context chosen for the class, or for students to work independently.
