Abstract

With the passage of time and continuous evolution in the market, the necessity of clothing has become a symbol of fashion in society. The change in customer fashion taste has brought about a revolution and upsurge in the fashion industry. Brands are striving to offer innovative concepts for the welfare of society, in addition to catering to the interests of their clients. However, modern fashion is wreaking havoc on the environment by causing a maximum impact on nature. The waste material from the clothing industry dumps into the drainage that eventually connects to the rivers. This wastage can be treacherous for both marine and human life. With an increase in awareness among the people, there has been an adoption of sustainable production and consumption worldwide. As a result, many fashion firms are shifting to sustainable practices throughout their manufacturing processes as part of their corporate social responsibility to continue gaining loyal customers who are environmentally conscious.
