Abstract
The purpose of this chapter is to outline an autoethnographic narrative of a female doctoral student and a mid-career scholar who crossed borders from the Global South (Mongolia) to the Global North (Australia). My journey is marked by diverse roles, traversing academia and research across continents. I currently pursue my PhD candidacy while working as a research assistant at Curtin University and as a casual academic at Murdoch University.
