Newer and better technologies are coming into existence in today's world. IoT is one such technology that has seen many improvements in recent years. IoT has helped many aspects of our daily life and will continue to grow and improve. Now, IoT can be implemented almost everywhere. In this chapter, we will be taking "wellness of worker and performance analytics." In a working environment, when people are working their hardest to improve their organization. They expect something in return or something to show that their effort has been worth it and motivate them to work more and do better to get rewarded again. But is there a way to accurately record their performance? Or to find out how the work is being done if the employee is struggling to complete the job or task assigned to them? There is now! With the help of IoT, more specifically body area network (BAN), a sub-category of IoT, we can monitor the performance and health of the employees. Since BAN is mainly used now as a medical tool, if we look broader, it can also be used to record data and use the data to give out rewards and view performance in a working environment. Using BAN more lightly, there isn't the need to insert anything into the human body especially, instead of with the 92help of wearable technologies with the connection of body area sensors (BAS) like smartwatches or glasses with sensors in them. By monitoring the data received from the BAN, we can view how the work is being performed and how long he/she is working, has he/she filled their quota for the day and finished their work, is he/she overworking themselves. With the data received from the BAN, we can then give out rewards to the employees, like for the employees who have remained consistent and have completed their quotas, the employees who are working too hard can receive breaks as rewards and so on. Especially if the work done is more on the physical side, like construction, monitoring employees will prove beneficial. With the help of BAN, we can improve the overall working conditions of employees and motivate them to do their job better.
