Abstract
In this presentation the authors give a brief overview of the ways in which the teacher work sample methodology (TWSM) measures and variables are currently used for student teacher evaluation, for teacher education program evaluation and for research on teacher effectiveness. Additionally, the authors list the processes, products, measures and the variables derived from the measures within the TWSM. Finally, a description is given of the current evidence for the “goodness” of TWSM measures and variable, along with plans for enhancing this evidence.
