Abstract

The authors look at some of the changes to the design and the measures associated with teacher work sample methodology between 1994 and 1996, based on Oregon’s standards-based model of education for the 21st century. To illustrate the changes a table is included showing Teacher Standards and Practices Commissions guidelines for work samples and Western Oregon State College’s teacher work sample components and measures/used in the assessment of the work sample.
