Abstract

Key messages • Canola is not a break crop in paddocks if root lesion nematodes (RLN) and Rhizoctonia solani are both present. • Weed free legumes, pulses and pastures are the best options where RLN and R. solani co-exist in a paddock. • Cereals substantially increase RLN and R. solani levels while canola will also increase RLN.
