Abstract

This paper first looks at the evolution of interactive television, particularly in the UK. It then reviews the literature on destination choice, travel experience and information search in the light of long-haul travel. These areas are then drawn together into a conceptual framework of what interactive television may hold for long-haul travellers as an information source.
