Morphological and physiological characteristics of two Phytophthora cinnamomi populations

Abstract
There is considerable phenotypic variation among Phytophthora cinnamomi isolates in morphology, physiology and pathogenicity worldwide. However, little is known about populations in close proximity to one another. Nor is there evidence to suggest how phenotypic variation is related to genotypic differences. In the first stage of a study that considers these aspects, we investigate some morphological and physiological characteristics of two populations of P. cinnamomi from the southwest of Western Australia (WA).
