Predicting functional woodland habitat networks within rural landscapes: Does it work?
British Ecological Society, Annual Meeting (University of Hertfordshire, UK, 08/09/2009–10/09/2009)
2009
Abstract
Different buffer-radius modelling approaches were used to assess habitat connectivity for the woodland-specialist invertebrate species, wood cricket (Nemobius sylvestris), on the Isle of Wight, UK. The results highlight the demand for detailed information in terms of species and land cover data, to use modelling tools effectively in conservation planning.
