Abstract
Play is a child’s fundamental right and a vehicle through which children learn and develop. In recent years, opportunities for play-based learning have diminished in Western Australia (WA) early childhood education (ECE) services. Discuss how a WA Play Strategy can optimise play-based learning for every child, no matter where they live and who they are.
