Abstract
Talhy Stotzer collaborated with Christine Thomas (PCP director) to curate the work of 12 emerging photographers from Murdoch University. The work was exhibited in its own section at the PS Art space as part of the annual Collective exhibition.
The work selected for Inhabit explored themes of identity and place unique to Western Australia within this particular historical context. Together, the works engage with states of in-betweenness that reflect experiences of migration, transformation, transitional landscapes and overlooked spaces.
This inaugural exhibition was featured as part of Perth’s largest open-themed photography event and was a significant opportunity for Murdoch students and the Murdoch Academy to connect to a large cross-section of the photography community. It included an online catalogue.
