Abstract
Talhy Stotzer co-curated the work of twelve Murdoch students with Christine Thomas (the director of Perth Centre for Photography, PCP) for a special addition to Collective 2025. This inaugural student show marked the beginning of a partnership between PCP, Perth’s only dedicated photographic arts organization, and the Murdoch Creative Academy.
The selected work explored themes of identity and place unique to Western Australia.
Being exhibited as part of Perth’s largest open-themed photography exhibition was a significant opportunity for Murdoch students and the Murdoch Academy to connect to a large cross-section of the photography community.
The exhibition opened on 05 December 2025 at the PSP Art Space, in Fremantle and also had an online presence.
