In 2017, The Lowitja Institute, Australia's National Institute for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Research, funded a research study which aimed at sharing knowledge on the strengths of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young men and the supporting role they play, and aspire to play, in their relationships, families and communities.
