A novel approach to evaluating breakage parameters and modelling batch grinding
Minerals Engineering, Vol.17(11-12), pp.1111-1116
2004
Abstract
In this work, an alternative to kinetic models of batch grinding has been proposed. It recognizes the self-similar breakage patterns commonly observed in batch grinding and drop weight tests and the proposed model is essentially an extension of a method used to describe drop weight test data to batch grinding. The evaluation of model parameters for the proposed method is far more convenient and reliable than that for kinetic models.
