A revision of the genus Ruppia (Potamogetonaceae) in Australia

Abstract

We conclude that Ruppia is best placed in the family Potamogetonaceae. Four species are recognised in Australia, R. tuberosa Davis and Tomlinson, R. maritima L., R. megacarpa R. Mason and R. polycarpa R. Mason. A key is to provide to the species. A lectotype is chosen for R. maritima and a neotype for R. tuberosa.
