Abstract

The fluoride complexes of the divalent ions of the first row transition elements from manganese to zinc have been studied potentiometrically with a fluoride ion-selective electrode. One complex, MF(aq)+ was detected in each case and all complexes are shown to be very weak. The stability constants of the complexes are reported at an ionic strength of one, and at 25°C.
