Abstract
Electron impact excitation of atomic hydrogen is reviewed with the aim of determining the maximum amount of information about the inelastic scattering from the ground state to the n=2,3 levels. In particular the information obtainable from (e,γ) (e,γ,γ) and (γ,γ) coincidence measurements is discussed.
