Coaxial anaesthetic circuits in small animals

Abstract
The coaxial circuits, the Bain and Lack, are suitable anaesthetic circuits for use for small animals. The advantages and disadvantages of these circuits are considered in this review article along with recommendations for an adequate fresh gas flow.
