Abstract
Although there is no doubt that modern graphics calculators are appropriately described as computers, having comparable capabilities to the first generation of microcomputers still within the living memory of many of us, there are many differences as well. One of the differences concerns the availability of colour on the screen. What is the significance of this for calculator users?
