Abstract

Epicardial adipose tissue (EAT) has emerged as a key player in the development of coronary artery disease (CAD), yet comprehensive studies delineating its lipidomic profile in comparison to subcutaneous adipose tissue (SAT) are limited. Our study aimed to elucidate the lipidomic disparities between EAT and SAT and pinpoint specific lipid metabolites linked to CAD.
