Abstract
Review question/objective:
The objective of this review is to synthesize the qualitative evidence regarding the life experiences of healthcare professionals when their significant others are admitted to an acute-care hospital. Specifically, the review will address the following research question: what are the experiences of healthcare professionals as significant others to hospitalized loved ones in an acute-care facility?
