Abstract
A new species of notodelphid copepod infesting the solitary ascidian Rodosoma turcium (Savigny, 1816) from the Gulf of Cariaco, Venezuela, is described and illustrated. This is the first record of Lonchidiopsis Vanhöffen. 1917, from the Caribbean.
