Lymphangiectasia in a dog

Abstract
A 5-year-old speyed female silky terrier was presented with ascites. Clinical pathology revealed hypoproteinaemia, lymphpaenia, hypocalcaemia and hypocholesterolaemia. Surgical biopsy of the small intestine enabled the diagnosis of intestinal lymphangiectasia to be made.
