We are privileged to introduce to you the Business Strategy and Environment special issue for the 2007 Greening of Industry Network (GIN) conference. In this introduction we try to serve a dual purpose. First we will provide the readers with an overview of some of the topics of interest discussed at the GIN conference and second we offer an introduction to the special issue papers that were selected from the conference presentation
