Abstract
General features of the ruderal vegetation in the northwestern part of the Podunajská nížina Lowland, Slovakia, are presented. Ruderal habitats have been classified into 11 groups. A short description of the habitats is given. The list of ruderal communities occurring in the habitats comprises 155 syntaxa and other phytocoena (incl. 60 associations).
