Abstract

Density and speed of sound data for dilute aqueous solutions of three polyhydric alcohols derived from propane (propane-1,2-diol, propane-1,3-diol, propane-1,2,3-triol) were obtained using the Anton Paar DSA 5000 vibrating-tube densimeter and sound analyzer in the temperature range from (278.15 to 318.15) K and at atmospheric pressure. Partial molar volumes at infinite dilution (standard molar volumes) and partial molar isentropic compressions at infinite dilution (standard molar isentropic compressions) were calculated from the measured data.
