Australasian Plant Pathology, Vol.25(1)
1996
Abstract
In May 1993, a severe leaf blight was observed on Rhapis excelsa in a palm nursery in Perth, Western Australia. The necrotic leaf tissues were extensively colonised by a species of Phomopsis. Pathogenicity tests confirmed Phomopsis rhapidis as the causal agent.
