Polymorphism in 3-Pyridylsydnone: Preparative and Structural Aspects
Australian Journal of Chemistry, Vol.65(4), pp.376-380
2012
Abstract
Two polymorphs of 3-(3′-pyridyl)sydnone 4 have been investigated. It was established that the metastable P2/c form is the kinetically favoured product formed by recrystallization from solution, but this may be converted to the new, more stable, P21/c polymorph by sublimation or heating in the solid state.
