Abstract

Patients often undergo anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) with the intention of returning to their pre-injury activity level. However, return to sport (RTS) after ACLR is disappointingly low. This study sought to investigate RTS status after ACLR, differences based on sex and concomitant meniscal repair, and reasons why patients do not RTS.
