Abstract
Ten spp of freeliving marine nematodes belonging to the family Cyatholaimidae are reported from 3 stations off the coast of Northumberland. Their distribution at these 3 stations is indicated, 8 spp are new, and are described as Longicyatholaimus complexus sp. n., Paracanthoncus longicaudatus sp. n., Paralongicyatholaimus minutus sp. n.,Neotonchus filiformis sp. n., N. vitius sp. n., N. votadinii sp. n., N. interrupta sp. n., and N. meeki sp. n.
