Asian-Australasian Journal of Animal Sciences, Vol.13(Supp. 1)
2000
Abstract
The aims of this project were to investigate the phosphorus and mineral requirements of cattle browsing tagasaste when phosphorous was supplied either in a mineral lick or as additional SP applied around the plants. One hundred and forty-two heifers (mean initial live-weight 210 + SD 22.6 kg) from the Pilbara in WA were randomly allocated to five treatments by three replicates. The trial was located on a commercial farm on sandplain country at Lancelin, 150 km north of Perth.
