The relation of earthworms to soil hydraulic properties
Soil Biology and Biochemistry, Vol.24(12), pp.1539-1543
1992
Abstract
Simple equations are presented which describe the relation of earthworms to soil hydraulic properties. These equations will assist the development of management techniques aimed at manipulating earthworm populations to achieve desired soil hydrologie behaviour. The critical morphologic parameters are shown to be burrow length and surface area respectively.
