Abstract

During the course of an ecological study on marine nematodes of the Northumberland coast, two species were found which proved to be new. They are described below as Thoraeostomopsis doveae sp. nov. (Enoplidae) and Synonchiella riemanni sp. nov. (Cyatholaimidae), both descriptions being based on a syntypic series.
