Abstract
From 1997 to 2000, Lilium lancifalium Thunb was used as experimental material to study 3 kinds of virus-elimination techniques(stem apex culture, combination of thermotherapy with stem apex culture, anther culture). After bulblet was pre-treated in (50±1)℃ water for 40 min and was cultured for 30 d, then 08～1 mm stem apex was cut down. The virus-elimination efficiency for this kind of stem apex reached 100%. Virus-elimination efficiency could also be improved by combining hot air [(38±1)℃] treatment with stem apex culture. The plantlet can be applied in practical production only after virus elimination identification.
