Abstract
This special issue, inclusive of 16 papers, focuses on Cryptosporidium and other waterborne protozoal parasites such as Toxoplasma and Giardia. Relevant discussions on the parasites' genetics, biochemistry, taxonomy, and molecular epidemiology, as well as data on clinical diseases in both man and animals, are included.
