Abstract
The guide is divided into three sections. Section one looks at the rationale of Western Oregon State College’s teacher work sample methodology (TWSM) and defines what the TWSM is and what it is comprised of. Section two gives an overview of the measures used in the TWSM, as well as TWSM rubrics and a sample of scored teacher work samples. Section three discusses the uses and users of TWSM, its data management and school in-service requirements and issues.
