The secular state
2011
Abstract
Australian historian, Geoffrey Bolton believes that the separation of Church and State in Australia has gone too far in that we no longer have an ethical structure. He laments the predominance of economic rationalism in Australian politics and the bureaucracy, and asks where is there now space to talk about good and bad, instead of just economics? Originally broadcast on 10/9/91.
