Abstract
This report is in response to Australia's thirteenth and fourteenth periodic reports to CERD, and has been developed with input from over thirty non-governmental organisations from across Australia. These organisations work regularly with people who face racial discrimination and associated disadvantage. The contributions cite extensive research and other evidence to demonstrate significant areas where the Australian government has failed to sufficiently meet its obligations under CERD. The report is structured according to CERD article number, and where appropriate, recommendations have been offered.
