Abstract
This social research study was commissioned Northern Agricultural Catchments Council (NACC) to determine the baseline condition with respect to attitudes, knowledge and aspirations about coastal management and climate change in the City of Geraldton-Greenough. The data provides a basis for development of community education and behaviour change initiatives to conserve the Geraldton-Greenough coast. Sources of data included stakeholder interviews and a residential household survey. The study also identified social indicators to monitor community change and those behavioural change problems that could benefit from a social marketing approach
