Abstract
The number of introduced fish species now outnumber the highly endemic (>80% endemism) native fish in southwestern Australia with the rate of detection rapidly increasing over the past ~20 years (Figure 1 in Beatty and Morgan, 2013; Hourston et al., 2014).
