About me
Investigating structural variants including retrotransposon insertions polymorphisms in the risk and progression of neurodegenerative disease. Using whole genome and RNA sequencing to evaluate the impact of retrotransposons and understand their role in Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease. As part of the Project MinE working group 6 I am collaborating with fellow researchers to investigate the role of non-coding DNA in motor neuron disease.
