About me
Dr Akilew Adane is an Epidemiologist and Data Scientist with 10+ years of research and teaching experience, specialising in the maternal and child health field. He is an expert in complex (linked and longitudinal) data management and analyses. He holds a PhD (UQ), MPH(Epi & Biostat) and BSc (Public Health).
His research interest includes:
- Perinatal health
- Mental health
- Child development
- Life-course epidemiology
- DOHaD (Developmental Origins of Health and Disease)
He is available for RHD (master's and PhD) and honours supervision and mentorship. He is also keen to provide quantitative data analysis support and epi and biostat consultations.
