About me
I am an experienced and passionate Education for Sustainability (EfS) practitioner. As an adjunct lecturer and researcher I am still involved in a wide number of EfS projects, continue to supervise a number of postgraduate research students and maintain my active involvement with the Australian Association for Environmental Education.
My interests focus on fostering voluntary changes in human behaviour through education in order to achieve a sustainable environmental outcome. I completed my doctoral research in this area, examining various education strategies in the context of transport use and developed the Travelsmart Workplace program. My more recent research includes work in the fields of urban biodiversity (aquatic and terrestrial), waste management behaviour, environmental and lifestyle education programs, evaluation of environmental education, and the WA Sustainable Schools Initiative.
