About me

I am a multidisciplinary researcher and work across several related fields.

These include:

1) Photovoltaic (PV) performance and reliability, where I contribute to the International Energy Agency (IEA) Photovoltaic Power Systems (PVPS) Task 13: Performance and Reliability. Related research work includes soiling, climate specific O&M, remotely operated systems for inspection of PV plants

2) Design of novel photovoltaic devices, capitalising on my experimental physics background I have conducted research ranging from developing nanoscale solar cells during my PhD and early career, to measurements on larger scale renewable energy systems research in more recent times

3) Optimisation of biomass (microalgae) cultivation systems. A strong collaboration with the Algae R&D Centre at Murdoch to optimise the cultivation of microalgae in relation to light, solar energy and industrial control systems
