Professor Domenico Gasbarro

Professor Domenico Gasbarro is a Professor of Finance in the Murdoch Business School, College of Business at Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia. He is a senior member of the Accounting and Finance discipline and has held key academic leadership roles, including Associate Dean of Research and Discipline Leader for Finance, contributing to research strategy, staff development, and quality assurance within the School.

Professor Gasbarro’s research expertise lies in financial markets, banking, risk management, and applied financial econometrics, with a growing portfolio of interdisciplinary research at the intersection of finance, health economics, and public policy. His work is published in leading international peer‑reviewed journals, including the Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Financial Research, Financial Review, Pacific‑Basin Finance Journal, and Energy Economics.
