About me
I am a senior lecturer in sports and exercise psychology. My key research interests are:
- The mental health and well-being of expert performers (i.e., circus artists, athletes)
- The mobility, mental health and well-being of people with disabilities (i.e., visual impairments)
- Qualitative and mixed methods research design
I supervise honours (11x completed), masters (3x completed), and PhD (3x completed, 2x ongoing) students in exercise science and psychology.
My main teaching responsibilities are:
- EXS201 Sport and exercise psychology
- EXS301 Advanced sport and exercise psychology
- BSC206 Introduction to research methods and evidence-based practice
Evidencing the high quality of my teaching practice, I am a 'Fellow of the Higher Education Academy'.
I am passionate about research ethics and integrity, and am a research integrity advisor.
