About me
Jacob Broom is an Early Career Researcher, a Fellow of the Indo-Pacific Research Centre, and a Lecturer in Politics and Policy in the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, Murdoch University, Western Australia. His research focuses on the role of finance in politics and social policy, particularly in Australia. It asks what the incorporation of private finance into social reproduction and the governance of the welfare state says about Australian politics and society, and what it means for advancing more equitable and redistributive forms of social provisioning.
