Jeffrey Giles

I am an educator and researcher with more than 20 years of experience as a Health and Physical Education teacher. My work is grounded in the realities of teaching and focused on supporting current and emerging teachers to develop thoughtful, inclusive and effective practice. I bring the perspective of a teacher who also wears a research hat, using research to question established practices and explore what might work better in real classrooms. I particularly value working alongside and mentoring students, helping them connect what they learn with the realities of teaching and develop the confidence to make a difference in their own practice.
