About me

I am primarily focused on first-year science education, encompassing teaching, curriculum development, and supporting student success in the life sciences. I am passionate about making science accessible and engaging for all learners and enjoy designing learning experiences that incorporate universal design principles to support diverse student needs.

Alongside my educational work, I have a research background in skeletal morphology and sexual dimorphism, developed through my Honours thesis at Murdoch University and Master's research at the Australian National University. Although these projects examined very different structures—bandicoot crania and human patellae—both explored the relationship between biological sex and skeletal variation. Using 3D scanning technologies enabled a low-waste, non-invasive approach to research and created versatile digital datasets that can be applied to a range of future research questions.
